Being forgiven changes everything Pt. 4
What does it truly mean to thrive in our faith rather than simply survive day to day? In Hebrews 10, we are confronted with a powerful and sometimes uncomfortable truth: God did not forgive us merely to give us a clean slate. He forgave us to draw us into real, living relationships -- with him and with one another. The passage calls us to consider one another, to stir up love and good works, and to gather together with increasing intentionality as the days grow shorter. The word translated as consider carries the weight of deep, attentive concern -- not a passing glance at someone across a sanctuary, but a genuine investment in the lives of fellow believers. The challenge placed before us is not about guilt or religious obligation, but about honest self-examination: are we moving toward community or away from it? Are we pursuing the things of God or slowly drifting from them? The answers to those questions reveal far more about the condition of our hearts than we might be comfortable admitting.
