Ten Mile Thursday School
Ten Mile Thursday School is a free program designed to prepare preschool children (ages 3–5) for kindergarten in a nurturing, faith-centered environment. Children must be potty trained to attend. This program is open to the public, and families without a church home are especially welcome—we would love for you to join us!
Our school year begins on the first Thursday after Labor Day and runs through the last Thursday in April. Classes meet each Thursday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A healthy snack is provided at 10:30 AM; please inform us of any food allergies.
We are excited for a year filled with fun, engaging activities that support your child’s spiritual, social, and academic growth. Each class is approximately 25 minutes long and includes:
First Day Information
The first day of school will be from 9:00–10:30 AM. We ask that a parent or guardian stay with their child on this day. This shortened schedule helps children become familiar with their teachers, the classroom, and new friends, making the transition more comfortable.
After the first day, volunteers will be assigned to classrooms other than their child’s.
What to Bring
Each child should bring a backpack with a change of clothes every week. (Backpack name tags and a class folder will be provided by the church.)
Regular Schedule
Full class sessions will be from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

- Bible Lesson
- Story Time
- Music
- Science & Missions
